This be the character relationship post for Shikieiki Yamaxanadu. That is, I will set up the whole thing with the fancy stuff once I don't feel lazy. Alternatively, you can comment here with your character journal or something for your character and I will do my best to write up how she feels about the character and such.

Vanille --

She is her first friend she has made here, so reasonably Shikieiki cares much about her. However, she did not expect to meet someone like her so soon -- someone who is upbeat, cheerful, optimistic, and caring. Someone who thinks deeply about the consequences of her actions enough that she would rather danger come to her than allow people she doesn't even know to get hurt. So far, she appears to have a lot of inner strength, as Shikieiki has seen that she doesn't easily panic and snap like the others did during that event. However, she has not known Vanille that long, yet she has known her long enough to know her story. Although she's not going to expect to be subject to Vanille's hugs as often as she may be in the future.

All in all, she finds Vanille to be a good person.

Marivel --

Shikieiki has just barely spoke with her, so she doesn't have a concrete opinion of the woman just yet. She appears to be on the polite side, and nice to talk to.

Suika --

Yay for oni, except maybe not because of how rowdy and noisy they can be -- after all, she's quite familiar with them. Although when Suika walks up to her and asks her for a alcoholic beverage in that human body of hers she has to put her foot down and say no, obviously. She has a feeling that she may have to keep a close eye on the reckless little oni if no one else will. Otherwise, as she's been trying to drive home to Suika here, she will find it may be easier to die here in that human body of hers.

Kirisame Marisa --

Stop stealing things--borrowing things is not the same as stealing, and stop lying, otherwise your tongue will be ripped out!

...

But seriously, 'thief' and 'liar' come to mind easily when she thinks about Marisa. We all know there's a pretty good reason for that too. Marisa is obviously more of a headache when actually around than when she's not. Luckily, she doesn't know where Marisa lives, otherwise she would come straight to her house to say something about her lying and stealing habits. Why? Because she's seen that she hasn't exactly gotten rid of her stealing habits, and she suspects Marisa hasn't stopped being a compulsive liar.

On the other hand, she sees a side of Marisa that at least gets her to think that she's above an annoyance. This may or may not be a good thing for Marisa, though, because she may try harder to get her to reform on her bad points. Deep down, she has a feeling that Marisa can be a good person, and when she helped her recently, it only refuted this feeling.

I'm going to be mad if this takes me an hour.

"Kazami Yuuka is an unrepentant sinner. She is almost everything that is the meaning of the word."

If that's not unsurprising that those words would immediately come to mind when she thinks of Yuuka, then I don't know what is. Honestly, it is, because when she looks at what the ancient youkai has done in her life, it is painfully obvious that whenever she has committed a sin in her demonic life she has shown no regret. She has felt no regret whatsoever either. She enjoys taking the joy out of those unfortunate ones who she has terrorized and killed. It is clear that she has been less of a demonic terror compared to her previous track record, as she recently just chills in her garden.

She is crazy, no doubt, and she can be unpredictable, two relatively known factors she obviously knows. Despite this, wherever she approaches Yuuka, the Yama is sure that the ancient Yuuka has enough respect for her that she wouldn't attack her without an honest to god very, very, good reason. She sees that she also values respect, much as many individuals, including the Yama herself, does.

But honestly, underneath that bloodthirsty, crazy, unrepentant, or that smiling mask of hers, she knows that there is more than meets the eye. After all, she does happen to know Yuuka's past. But she knows that it doesn't make any of what she did because of it acceptable; but it also doesn't mean she doesn't have compassion. She tries to not make it obvious that she wants to give her a second chance, although it's difficult reasonably. Honestly, though, her existence already gives her a headache, and after just one discussion with her is mentally tiring. There are just some things that Yuuka says that can easily get under the Yama's skin, and it doesn't happen to be in reverse most of the time. Perhaps it is due to her sheer amount of stubbornness and will that she hasn't completely given up on Yuuka.

She wants to see that Yuuka has good in her, because she knows that all in all her circumstances made her what she is. And unlike a certain someone, she knows that she is an important figure in her life.

There is a side of her that thinks that Yuuka is just hopeless, and that it's not worth the effort.

While they're in Mayfield, she figures that she might just as well try her hardest, even if she seems to be discouraged about her right about now. Shikieiki will not truly stop trying until she's fully convinced that she is beyond redemption. After all, she's pretty sure that at the rate Yuuka is going, she won't be able to even cross the Sanzu River, haha.

of course I could also be thinking too far into this or this might sound ridiculous.

That doesn't sound ridiculous at all :3

Maybe someday Yuuka could come around. But she's a real piece of work.

"That fairy, who is going to get herself in trouble one day."

The first thought that appears in her mind whenever Cirno is in the picture, because she honestly thinks so. The fairy is a reckless adventurer, who is careless in almost every way when it comes to self-preservation. She doesn't just seem to get a clue. But hey, many fairies are spacey, and have low intelligence -- although Cirno does stand out from most fairies due to her power and personality.

At times, Shiki does want to drive it home that she is too careless for her own good, and that her power would also get into trouble too (see: canon). Obviously, she knows it is mostly a waste of time because, well, she's a fairy. She may be good to her friends and all but matters that cause one to think really deep -- particularly life and death -- is a mostly a waste of time to try to harp on about to her.

She has a feeling that someday the fairy will get more than she bargained for, and that would be a harsh wake up to reality.

"Janus Cascade, The Risk Taker" (don't ask me, I just wanted to come up with a cool title)

That which stayed from her first impression of Janus was that he was the kind of guy who wanted to live life to the fullest. She finds that he seems kind of laid-back, as well as being confident in who he is. He also sounds like someone who has a habit of getting in over their head. She doesn't know him all that well to be honest, as she's spoken briefly with him only twice. So this may be just more assumption.

Shikieiki doesn't mind talking to him, though, as he hasn't shown any reason why she wouldn't want to associate herself with him as of yet.
