The Third Judgment

[It had been sometime since the event that last shook that town, but surely not that long ago as the memories were very fresh in her mind. Memories that were just as fresh in everyone else's minds, as well.

For a moment, she stares out her window.]

...It looks like another good morning for a walk. Then again, in Mayfield it seems it is usually the same weather every day.

Miss Olivier, might you be free today for a small get-together? It would be prudent to take advantage of the good weather, after all.

[For anyone else who may want to meet her outside she will be later out near her house because staying indoors all day long isn't an option when there's more drones in her house. She can barely stand them.]

I suppose.

So, enjoying the weather?

[Because she totally would if she hadn't regained her aversion to sunlight.]

It is a nice thing to wake up to, even if it is such a trivial thing.

Better than the weather around where I live, anyways.

[identity profile] supremejudge.livejournal.com 2010-07-17 06:26 pm (UTC)(link)
What is the weather in your original home like for you to say that?

[identity profile] noblecrimson.livejournal.com 2010-07-17 06:32 pm (UTC)(link)
It would depend on the region, I suppose, but the area around where my castle is rather dry and hot, though not yet on the level of a desert.

Filgaia has always been in a slow state of decay, though, since the war with the Elw.

[identity profile] supremejudge.livejournal.com 2010-07-17 07:11 pm (UTC)(link)
That is rather unfortunate. I trust people have been trying to bring the land back to the way it was before the war, correct?

Who are the 'Elw'?

[identity profile] noblecrimson.livejournal.com 2010-07-17 07:15 pm (UTC)(link)
To various extents.

The Elw were one of the original inhabitants of Filgaia, along with us Crimson Nobles. They were experts on technology, though also dependent on nature.

If I may ask, what would cause them to participate in a war?

[identity profile] noblecrimson.livejournal.com 2010-07-17 07:52 pm (UTC)(link)
Hm? Ah-

[And she'll explain this (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wild_Arms_%28series%29#Elw), sort of, except that's more for the first game than anything, but oh well ;3; ]

[...]

A case of something created getting out of hand due to foolishness. It seems that the Elw also didn't want to take full responsibility for their actions.

To an extent, I suppose. It was before my time, so I've learned what I have through stories and the books from my castle.

...Of course, I wasn't exempt from a Demon war in my own time, either. The Blaze of Disaster, Lord Blazer, came to Filgaia from a parallel dimension a thousand or so years ago, and scorched the land.

[Very quietly.]

And killed my parents, and made me the last of my kind...as well as caused my only friend at the time to sacrifice herself to seal him away...

Of course, he was defeated in recent times, finally, after the seal broke, by another person, that I joined up with.
